  • Order and transaction data — details of orders you place or fulfill through the app, including items, quantities, pricing, and delivery status.
  • Device information — device type, operating system version, and push notification token used to deliver order updates and alerts.
  • Usage data — how you interact with the app, including screens visited, features used, and actions taken.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain our services
  • Process your orders and facilitate communication between you and merchants
  • Send you push notifications about your orders, deliveries, and account activity
  • Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues
  • Improve and develop new features based on how our services are used

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your data in the following circumstances:

  • With merchants — order details necessary to prepare and deliver your order, such as items ordered, delivery address, and your first name.
  • With service providers — trusted third parties that help us operate the platform (cloud hosting, push notification delivery, analytics). These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.
  • For legal requirements — when required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or by email before the new policy takes effect. Your continued use of Socio after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
